Tired of the same, old clothes? Want to stand out from the crowd? Want to have your own personal style? Here's help!
Steps
-
1
Think about your personality.
Your style needs to match your personality. Don't wear goth clothes if
you're a sweet, girly girl, otherwise people will get the wrong idea of
you. Your clothes are like a description of you!
-
2
Don't always wear the latest trends.
Instead, mix it up a little. Look at a magazine from three years ago
and one from now. See what was in back then and what's in now, and mix
up those styles.
-
3
Mix up styles. Go back
to step 1 for more ideas. Are you a really girly girl, but love to play
sports? Than you can wear girly sporty clothes. Are you really casual
and basic, but sometimes like to dress up? Start mixing up two different
styles and see what you have!
-
4
Have a signature look.
Again, it needs to match your style and personality. Your signature look
can be something like pink lipstick or curly, voluminous hair.
-
5
Get a new haircut. The haircut needs to match the style.
-
6
Give your friends fashion tips. Tell them what you think the new "it" look is.
-
7
Be a trendsetter.
-
8
If someone starts to copy your style, don't change your style. Try standing out even more or just tell them to stop copying you.
In addition to being a good child (to your parents), you can be a good kid in general by following these steps.
Steps
-
1
Listen to your parents and do all the stuff they ask you to do and never argue or complain.
-
2
Clean your room, do the dishes, take out the trash, and much more.
If you do all the things they ask you to do, you don't have to worry
about the stuff. You may get the games and cell phone you always wanted.
Try to go the extra mile.
-
3
Respect your parents!
Even though you might not get your own way, the more you do for them and
more you respect them, the more they will want to do something for you.
- Respect is not the same thing as conformity. This simply means that
you can still disagree with your parents, but respect their decisions
anyway.
-
4
Don't do any drugs, and don't drink alcohol.
-
5
Don't go over your limits on anything.
-
6
Don't drink alcohol until
you're 21 unless you are in a different country or state with a lower
age and you have your parents' permission.
-
7
Don't smoke or chew tobacco.
-
8
Stay in school and work very hard on your studies. Set goals for the future.
-
9
Be polite; manners are always important.
-
10
Do something worthwhile,
such as donating all of your saved up money to UNICEF, a charity that
supports children in third world countries.
-
11
Adopt a pet from the shelter. Give it all of your love. Spoil it rotten. These animals need a lot of loving, something that they are lacking in.
-
12
Be kind, generous and forgiving.
Smile graciously, respect others and help out. It might be impossible
at first, but just start off by helping out your dad paint the fence, or
being a shoulder to cry on when little Sally's pet goldfish dies.
-
13
Act like a kid, but don't be immature. Be responsible. Read novels and participate in class, even enter spelling bee competitions. It's not nerdy.
-
14
Smile. This will show your parents that you are enjoying life, and are not looking for any trouble.
-
15
Never throw temper tantrums and fight with parents. It's childish and you should grow up.
-
16
Look innocent and be innocent.
-
17
If you have a problem with
your parents or siblings, don't go throw a tantrum right in the middle
of dinner or when you feel like it, go up to your room and punch a
pillow if you're mad.
-
18
Don’t be nervous of talking in the school. Talk to your friends and be nice to the people you don't like also.
-
19
Don't skip from person to person.
Like one person at a time, sometimes we get confused about who we like
and its all jumbled in our minds. You don't want to lead anyone on. That
might hurt them, and you in the end.
-
20
If you like someone be nice and smile! Respect them and their views, but don't use all your time thinking about them, take some time for your friends too!
-
21
If they don't like you back, respect them.
Sometimes people just don't like other people, you can always just be
friends. If you´re badly upset and jealous of whoever they like, talk it
out with a friend who understands.
-
22
Try to keep your grades up and do your best in school.
-
23
Be kind to everyone you know.
-
24
Don't cuss or swear.
-
25
Go to bed on time without discussing.
-
26
Eat all your food without complaining. Try to eat a balanced diet.
-
27
Be thankful for what you have.
-
28
Help out your parents when you think they need help.
-
29
Never talk back to your parents or anyone.
-
30
Be nice to your friends and family. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.
We have all been there - you have somewhere to be and you should have left the house. Trouble is, you are still in bed! It is possible to get up and out of the house in 10 minutes flat. just to be honest.
Steps
-
1
Go into the bathroom and warm up the shower. Make sure you have towels ready.
-
2
While the shower warms up, brush your teeth and gargle. Allow two minutes.
-
3
Jump into the shower and wet yourself all over.
Lather up (hair and body) and then rinse. This should take no more than
three minutes. Boys - this may be a day for the designer stubble look.
Consider your contribution to reducing water wastage as a bonus.
-
4
Towel yourself dry. If you have long hair then wrap it in a towel for now.
-
5
Don't forget the deodorant.
-
6
Dress - choose the simplest clothes possible. If your clothes are ready and hanging in your closet where they should be, this will take all of two minutes.
-
7
Ladies -if you must wear make-up, then a sweep of mascara will have to do for now. You can always put your face on later.
-
8
Make your way downstairs and pull on your shoes.
Grab your keys, money, a bar or snack if you need breakfast and coat.
if your hair is still wrapped in a towel, take it off and slap on a hat!
-
9
Get out of the door.
Do you want to make a To Do list for your child, spouse, or even yourself? Read this article to find out how!
Steps
-
1
Think of everything you/they need to do.
State it clearly, and use proper English. Instead of writing "grocery
store," write "Go to the grocery store to buy some more Chunky Monkey
ice cream".
-
2
Use good handwriting. If you can't read it, what's the point?
-
3
Make it noticeable. Write in bright colors or put it in a noticeable place, because they might not do it if they can't see it!
-
4
Put a date or day on it. It helps a lot if they know when to do it by, so they can feel ahead of their schedule.
-
5
Organize the list to get it done quickly.
If it's a Christmas list, group items by store or shopping center. Then
organize it to minimize travel distance between stops. You can save
hours by planning properly.
-
6
Prioritize the most important things first.
If it's a repair list (around the house), put the most important
problems first. If it's a big list, break it into manageable or
incremental one-weekend or one-day projects.
Ever want to wake up early but always lay back down? Follow these steps and you'll be out of bed in no time.
Steps
-
1
Make sure to get at least eight hours of sleep. Children and teens need more amount of sleep, because they are growing during the night.
-
2
Know when you are going to take a shower.
Whether it is at night or in the morning plan ahead. If you are taking a
shower in the morning you might want to wake up a little bit earlier.
-
3
Put your alarm clock on the other side of the room. Make sure you can hear it still, but make sure you have to get up. The closer to the door (or bathroom) the better.
-
4
Freshen up in the morning. Especially if you are taking a shower the night before. Brush your hair and your teeth.
-
5
Know what you are going to wear. Do you know where your shoes are? What kind of clothes are you going to wear?
-
6
Read a good book or take a hot bath before you go to bed. Never read a scary book though. This will help your mind relax.
-
7
Listening to classical music. Something soothing and relaxing will calm you down before sleeping.
-
8
If you hear things during the night (like crickets, dogs, snoring, etc. try using a fan. It can drown out the noise. Listening to an iPod with soft music will also help.
-
9
Have a stuffed animal. It may really help.
-
10
In the morning when you are thinking, "Just fifteen more minutes and I will get up," just get up! You might oversleep and wake up way later than expected.
-
11
Always leave a little bit early.
